Description

Presented by Kristin Haverty, Center for Puppetry Arts Associate Producer

From Lotte Reiniger to Janie Geiser, for nearly a century artists have utilized paper to create complex, evocative cinematic worlds. This workshop is designed as an introduction to the history and technique of 2D stop-motion paper animation. Topics to be explored include the history of paper animation, design and construction of effective puppets, and animation techniques.
