Acclaimed Spanish puppet company Periferia Teatro de Títeres performs Guyi-Guyi, about a crocodile accidentally born into a family of ducks. Guyi-Guyi lives happily with his family until one day he meets another crocodile and learns his true identity. Upon learning he is not like the others, our hero goes through various difficulties to become himself. Through play and humor Guyi-Guyi explores the fear of not fitting in and what happens when others see you differently. Based on the children's book by Taiwanese author Chih-Yuan Chen, Guyi-Guyi is a new take on the classic story "Ugly Duckling."
